Mapped: TTT All You Can Jet Travel
21 flights in one month means lots of preparation, so I’ve budgeted an hour of each day until September 7th to plan my JetBlue AYCJ adventure. I decided to map out the flights I have booked so far, beginning with 24 hours in Costa Rica on September 7 and 8. I’ll be flying on flight 71, the very first AYCJ flight of the year, which departs JFK at 6AM on the first day of travel. Followed by a day trip to Phoenix on 9/10, lunch in Syracuse on 9/11, 24 hours in Bermuda on 9/13-14, a weekend in Denver beginning 9/16, one night in Seattle on 9/23, a day in San Francisco on 9/24, two nights in Vegas beginning 9/25, and a final trip to Bogota, Colombia on 9/29-10/2, before I head to Hong Kong on 10/4 (I have a feeling I’ll sleep just fine on that 16-hour flight).
I’m hoping to visit the New York TRACON (Terminal Radar Approach Control), which controls the airspace at and around JFK, a couple days before the first flight, and I’ll post what I can from that facility. Let’s hope the guys on the ground let September take off without a hitch!
