Slideluck Potshow Tonight in Manhattan
Slideluck Potshow offers a little bit of everything that we love here at Tech, Travel and Tuna: There’s lots of tech involved (cameras, projectors, etc.), the event is held all over the world, and makes a great stop wherever you’re traveling (if there happens to be an event), and it’s a massive potluck, so there’s a fairly good chance someone will be bringing tuna. If you happen to be in Manhattan at the moment, Slideluck is a must see for anyone even remotely interested in photography. The event is free, but you do need to bring food and beverages to participate in the potluck. Details on the event are below:

WHO: A wide array of artists and genres, some of whom are very accomplished, including:
• SHEPARD FAIREY- Illustrator who created the Obama “Hope” Poster
• PLATON- Famed celebrity photographer
• TIM HETHERINGTON- Vanity Fair photographer showing a searing multimedia piece from Iraq
• GREGORY CREWDSON- Fine-Art Photographer and Yale Prof. shows David Lynch-esque work
• PETE SOUZA- Photographer appointed by Barack Obama to cover his administration
